Common Purpose Global Leadership Experience

Bristol International Leadership Program

What if the world's greatest challenges were in your hands?

Join the Bristol International Leadership Program and develop your ability to lead from a truly global perspective. Alongside students from the University of Bristol, you will play a part in tackling the biggest issues facing businesses, governments, and societies worldwide.

During this four-day program, you will explore a major world challenge - "How do smart cities ensure they are inclusive?" - from a local Chicago perspective. You will meet with visionary leaders from global businesses, local government, and international not-for-profit organizations.  This will help you and your fellow participants understand the challenge and find creative ideas to solve it.

The program meets daily from 9:00am - 5:00pm, where you will participate in educational sessions, team activities, and meet with local leaders.  You will direct your own learning, speaking to individuals from (and potentially visiting) organizations such as:

  • JP Morgan Chase
  • BP
  • MacArthur Foundation
  • Chicago Innovation Exchange
  • Chicago Tribune

When and Where?

  • June 12-15, 2018
  • 9:00am - 5:00pm
  • Reynolds Club - McCormick Tribune Lounge
  • Breakfast and lunch will be provided

Application deadline is Friday, May 11
