Event Space - Reynolds Club

The following is a description of the rooms that are available in the Reynolds Club and their different functions:


Hutchinson Commons (1st Floor)
The largest reception space in the Reynolds Club. Originally a dining hall with large wooden tables and chairs, this room is great for big study breaks and receptions. To rearrange furniture, please make arrangements with the RC staff in advance.
Reservable hours (Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters):
Mon.- Thur., and Sat.: 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Fri.: 5:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
Sun: 9:00 a.m.. – 12:00 a.m.
Capacity: 320


McCormick Tribune Lounge (1st Floor)
This room comes with soft seating, low tables, and computer terminals. It’s ideal for larger, quiet gatherings.
Reservable hours (Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters):
Sun.-Fri.: 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Sat.: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.
Capacity: 100


South Lounge (2nd Floor)
This second floor space with soft seating and a large conference table is great for larger meetings or smaller receptions. Note: amplified sound and other loud activities are not permitted in the South Lounge.
Reservable hours: during regular building hours. 
Capacity: 50

Reynolds Club Marketplace (1st Floor)
Reserve a table in the Reynolds Club’s main lobby for ticket sales or fundraising.
Reservable hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm weekdays

Hutchinson Courtyard
Stages and tables can be set up here for outdoor programming.
Reservable hours: during regular business hours. 
Amplification possible: 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Please take note of the following:

  • Taping, tacking, nailing, etc., of objects to walls, furniture, fixtures, etc., is prohibited in the Reynolds Club, except for banners, which are permitted in the Bell Tower. Only masking tape may be used in this space. Groups that damage Reynolds Club property will be billed accordingly.
  • Alcoholic beverages served in the Reynolds Club are limited to beer and wine. Permission to serve alcohol must be granted by the Center for Leadership and Involvement. Usually, alcohol may not be served at events where undergraduates will be in attendance. Smoking is not permitted in any part of the Reynolds Club, including the vestibules, and organizations and departments sponsoring events must see that this policy is enforced. Please review the Alcohol Policy and fill out all appropriate forms.
  • All trash must be removed from the Reynolds Club immediately after any function. Dumpsters are located by the entrance on University Avenue. Custodial and set-up services are available through Facilities Services (at some cost to the group), or groups may arrange and restore the rooms themselves. our staff can assist groups in arranging for custodial and set-up services. Failure to clean and restore a room to order after an event will result in a $50 cleaning charge.
