January 17StrengthsQuest™ Lunch and Learn Workshop
The StrengthsQuest™ assessment instrument provides you the opportunity to discover your natural talents and begin to explore how to build on them to achieve your personal and career goals. Come to this workshop to make meaning of your assessment results and begin transforming your talents to leadership strengths! 

The program runs from 12-1pm.

January 19 & 20Modus Vivendi Society – Expedition
Applications are due January 10 for our Winter Quarter Modus Vivendi Society weekend! 

The Modus Vivendi Society is a three-part series of programs designed to help students build leadership competencies, engage in meaningful conversations with other UChicago students, and become advocates for positive change. Any UChicago student, regardless of program or year can apply for a Modus Vivendi Society program.

Take a weekend away from campus to participate in interactive activities and small group discussions exploring personal identity, values, strengths, and capacity to lead. Participants will build leadership competencies, engage in meaningful conversations with other UChicago students, and become advocates for positive change. 

Modus Vivendi Society programs are offered at no cost to attendees and include transportation off campus to our overnight location, accommodations, and meals.

January 22Student Leader Awards Nominations
Outstanding student leaders at the undergraduate and graduate level are recognized each year at the Student Leader Awards! Nominations open on January 22 for the 2019 awards. Please visit the SLA website for details on the requirements for each award. Nominations are due on February 20.

January 31Women’s Leadership Book Club
Join us for our quarterly Women’s Leadership Book Club! Each quarter, we read and discuss a book that addresses issues pertaining to women’s leadership. The program is open to ALL students, regardless of gender identity.

The winter quarter selection is Dare to Leadby Brené Brown; you can claim your copy by bringing a $10 deposit to the 016 suite in the Reynolds Club. Your deposit will be returned at the book club meeting.

The meeting will be hosted in the South Lounge of the Reynolds Club from 12-1pm.
