Clifton Strengths Assessment

What is Clifton Strengths?

The instrument’s emphasis on identifying students’ top five talents and focused the attention of developing those talents will help students at all stages of their professional development, from a successful transition into University life to assisting with career exploration. The use of this instrument will provide skill development to the graduate and undergraduate community by empowering our students to invest in their personal success through their engagement with the University of Chicago.

Each student at the University of Chicago will receive one Clifton Strengths Access Code throughout their time at the university, as well as the opportunity to participate in 1:1 Strengths Coaching with a certified coach. This code will give you access to the Clifton Strengths assessment, which is designed to help you understand your natural talents and how to use them to achieve success. The 1:1 coaching sessions will provide you with personalized guidance on how to leverage your strengths to achieve your personal and professional goals.

We believe that these resources can be invaluable tools in your personal and professional development, and we are committed to providing you with the support you need to succeed. Whether you are just starting your academic journey or are nearing graduation, we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to discover your unique strengths and use them to achieve your goals.

If you have any questions about the Clifton Strengths Access Code or 1:1 Strengths Coaching, please contact Karina Pabón. We look forward to supporting you in your journey of self-discovery and growth.

Whether you are interested in offering the workshops to your general membership or executive board, we can work with you to customize the experience to meet your specific needs.

We believe that the Clifton Strengths workshops can be a valuable resource for RSOs looking to strengthen their members' leadership skills and sense of community. If you are interested in learning more about how to bring these workshops to your organization, please contact Karina Pabón at kpabon@uchicago.edu.

Due to limited availability, we will only be offering these workshops during the summer.

The Clifton Strengths assessment is designed to help you discover your natural talents and how to use them to achieve success. The workshops provide an opportunity to learn how to apply your strengths to your work and daily life, and to connect with colleagues who share your interests.

Please note that in order to provide these workshops, departments will need to cover the cost of access codes and any other expenses incurred.

If you have any questions about the Clifton Strengths workshops, please contact Karina Pabón at kpabon@uchicago.edu.

Other Personality & Leadership Inventories:

We are working on expanding our offerings and are excited to offer a variety of workshops to support your personal and professional development. In addition to the Clifton Strengths workshops, we provide opportunities to explore other personality and leadership inventories such as Myers-Briggs, Enneagram, DiSC, and more.

Each inventory provides unique insights into your strengths, preferences, and communication styles. By understanding these aspects of yourself, you can learn how to work more effectively with others and achieve greater success in all areas of your life.

Our workshops are designed to be interactive and engaging, providing an opportunity to connect with colleagues and learn from each other's experiences. Whether you are looking to improve your leadership skills, communicate more effectively with others, or simply gain a deeper understanding of yourself, we have a workshop that can help.

If you are interested in learning more about our workshops, please email Karina Pabón at kpabon@uchicago.edu.
