Jimmy earned his undergraduate degree in Conservation Biology from the University of Maryland. After a little time working at the Biosphere 2 Center, he went on to receive his Master's in Higher Education Administration from the University of Michigan. He moved to Chicago in February 2012 to begin his work at UChicago. When not on campus, Jimmy enjoys trying out new recipes and exploring restaurants around the city. One of his favorite pastimes is finding new and/or oddly flavored snacks to bring for the CLI staff to try!

Karina joined the University in July 2019. She is originally from Puerto Rico and received her undergraduate degree at University of Central Florida (Go Knights, Charge On!), and her Master’s in Student Personnel in Higher Education at University of Florida (Go Gators!). In her free time, she enjoys reading her never ending to-read book pile, watching too much reality TV, and exploring new things to do in the city!

Heather joing CLI in October of 2022. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Asian Languages & Cultures with a focus in Korean Studies from the University of Michigan College of Literature Science and the Arts in 2021, and received her Master’s of Management from the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business in 2022. Heather enjoys all forms of media consumption whether that be scrolling on social media, indulging in certifiably bad films and TV shows or curating lengthy playlists for oddly specific moods.

Amie joined CLI in November 2022! Originally from Long Island, New York, Amy is a proud product of SUNY Suffolk County Community College, an active Phi Theta Kappa Alumni, and former International Officer for the organization. She earned both her bachelor's and master's from The University of Mississippi in Psychology/English and Higher Education/Student Personnel respectively. Her favorite book is the Perks of Being a Wallflower because it sparked her love of literature as an adolescent. She loves exploring new places and trying as many new restaurants as possible.

TJ joined CLI in the summer of 2022. He is from the Southside of Chicago, the first graduating class from The Chicago Highschool for Agricultural Sciences(CHSAS). His favorite book is The 5th horseman by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro. His favorite movie is American Gangster. He is a proud grandpa of 12 little ones and enjoys doing volunteer work through homeless shelters and rehab homes.
