O-WEEK PROGRAMMING

Double Feature in Ida - Tuesday, September 22 from 6:45pm-11pm
Join the Center for Leadership and Involvement, Doc Films, and the College for back-to-back movies in Ida Noyes Hall. Doors are at 6:45pm, Ratatouille plays at 7:15pm, and Clue plays at 9:20pm. Stay for both movies or just drop in for one. Snacks available. Bring your own blanket for seating!

Glow Party - Wednesday, September 23 from 9:30pm-11:30pm
Grab any and all glow gear and join the annual O-Week GLOW PARTY (also affectionately known as Glarty) in and around Henry Crown Field House! This year will feature silent disco, a climbing wall inside Henry Crown, glow art, food trucks, and mocktails. Please note: no food, drink, dress shoes or footwear with “marking” dark soles inside Henry Crown.

CLI Open House - Friday, September 25 from noon-2pm
The Center for Leadership and Involvement (CLI) and Undergraduate Student Government (USG) want to help students make the most of their experience at UChicago! Meet staff from CLI, representatives from USG, and leaders of award-winning student organizations!

RC Party - Friday, September 25 from 9:30pm-11:30pm
A welcoming party in the iconic Reynolds Club. Available activities include karaoke with live band, arcade games, printmaking, and quiet hangout spaces throughout the building.

FALL QUARTER PROGRAMMING

Engagement Expo - Friday, October 2 from 3pm-5pm
Join 400+ departments and RSOs on the main quad as they table to share what they do on and around campus with you. There will be giveaways, candy, snacks, ice cream, and games!

Craft Break - Mondays in the Fall Quarter from 11am-1pm

Hallowed Grounds - 10/5, 10/19, 11/2, 11/16
Make a quick, funky craft in the Student Activities Center (downstairs in Reynolds Club) or Hallowed (upstairs in Reynolds Club)! The craft will always be something cool you can take home, and there will always be a snack. Be there or be square.

Snag your reduced-priced tickets to this irreverent Broadway in Chicago musical, staged at the Cadillac Palace Theatre. 

The Rocky Horror Picture Show - Sunday, November 1 at 9:15pm
As is tradition, this somewhat spooky, very campy cult classic film will be played on the big screen behind a live cast acting it out on stage. Experience the oddness yourself at one of Chicago's most famous movie theaters, the Music Box. Attendees will need to find their own transportation. Tickets are free, but you must reserve a spot by filling out this form.

Kiki's Delivery Service Screening - Sunday, December 6 at 4pm
Watch Studio Ghibli's charming, autumnal coming-of-age movie in Doc Films' Max P Cinema (inside Ida Noyes Hall). Kiki's Delivery Service features a young witch and her black cat companion exploring the wide world together. Entrance is free with UChicago student ID.

Late Night Breakfast - Monday, December 7 from 10pm until supplies last
Join the CLI in McTrib (Reynolds Club) for a well deserved late night treat after the primal scream!

Uncommon LEADership Series: The Leader I Thought I Had to Be - October 15, 2026 at 4:30PM 
Think You Know What a Leader Looks Like? Spoiler: you might be wrong. Join us for The Leader I Thought I Had to Be. An interactive conversation where we’ll unpack the “leadership scripts” we’ve inherited from family, school, culture, social media, and everywhere in between. Come challenge the “shoulds,” rethink who gets recognized as a leader, and create your own definition of leadership. Because leadership isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about discovering how YOU lead. Dinner is provided, so come curious and leave with a new perspective on leadership and maybe a few assumptions to leave behind. LEADership Book Club - November 6, 2026 at 12:30PM
Join us for our quarterly Leadership Bookclub! Each quarter, we read and discuss a book that addresses issues pertaining to women’s leadership. The program is open to ALL members of the UChicago community, regardless of gender identity. COHORT PROGRAMS

Women's Leadership Program
The Women's Leadership Program is a 4-week series in which participants will learn about, reflect on and develop self-advocacy and leadership skills. During this program, participants will explore what it means to be a woman in leadership and how their unique experiences shape their leadership framework. Participants will have the opportunity to build relationships within a small cohort and connect with women leaders across different fields. Find out more information and submit your application here.

Impact Scholars Institute
The Impact Scholars Institute (ISI) is an immersive program aimed at nurturing leadership skills and fostering innovation, design thinking, and business strategy. Its primary objective is to empower aspiring leaders by equipping them with the knowledge and skills to navigate the evolving landscape of innovation. Operating on a selective, application-based system, the program accommodates up to 12 participants each academic year, running from the Autumn Quarter to the end of the Spring Quarter. The curriculum is grounded in the Center for Leadership and Involvement's Leadership Development Model, focusing on three core elements: self-awareness and personal skill development, collaboration, and the ability to bring about meaningful change. Find out more information and submit your application here.
