Undergraduate Student Government

The Undergraduate Student Government (USG) at the University of Chicago serves as the representative student voice on campus. The purpose of USG is “to further the interests and promote the welfare of the students at the University of Chicago; to foster a University community, and to represent the body more effectively before University authorities and the community at large.”

USG consists of the Executive Cabinet and College Council. Any enrolled student of the College is eligible to get involved. There are several opportunities for students to get involved in Student Government. You can choose to either run for an elected position or apply to join one of the many committees and advisory boards managed by USG.

For more information about the current initiatives and the involvement opportunities, we recommend checking out the Undergraduate Student Government website at: https://www.uchicagocollegecouncil.com/
