Blueprint Event
This event is for first-year students in the College to learn about how to get involved with Student Government and upcoming Center for Leadership & Involvement programs. Meet CLI staff and student representatives from award-winning organizations.
Information to be announced for Autumn Quarter 2021
2021-2022 Re-Registration
Every RSO must complete an annual Registration process to maintain active status and remain eligible for services offered through the Center for Leadership and Involvement and the University. Note that this process is only for current and approved new RSOs who are completing the annual Registration process to maintain Active status. Students interested in applying to start a new RSO will need to apply for RSO status through CORSO in the 2020-21 academic year.
Re-Registration will open Monday, September 27th, and close Sunday, October 17th at 11:59pm. Registration Forms are to be submitted through Blueprint.
2021-2022 SOAR Training
SOAR is the annual Recognized Student Organization (RSO) training that is required for organizations to earn or maintain recognized status at the University of Chicago. In this training, students will: learn university policies that pertain to the success of RSOs, interact with their assigned advisor, and understand how their work impacts the university and the student body.
Monday, September 27th: Orange Group SOAR Training Opens *Online*
Friday, October 15th: Orange Group SOAR Training Closes *Online*
Saturday, October 9th: SOAR Training for all other RSOs *In-person*
Student Activities Resource Fair (SARF)
The Student Activities and Resource Fair is your chance to meet representatives from hundreds of Registered Student Organizations (RSO) and campus offices who will be available to tell you about what they do and how you can get involved!
Friday, October 1st from 3:00pm-5:30pm.
The rain date is Tuesday, October 5th from 3:00 to 5:30 pm. *Rain call will be made on Thursday, September 30th*
2021-2022 Fall Elections for Student Government College Council Representatives
Petitions will open via email on Tuesday, September 28th, and are due at midnight on Monday, October 4th.
Mandatory Meeting on SG Election Rules will be held on Tuesday, October 5th
Elections Tabling will be Wednesday, October 6th, and Thursday, October 7th
Ballots will open via email on Friday, October 8th, and close on Tuesday, October 12th at 4 pm. Following ballots, closing votes will be counted.

2021-2022 Annual Allocations
Annual Allocations occur once each year from late Winter to Mid-Spring Quarters to allocate funds to RSOs for their events and programs planned for the following year. AnnAl is a companion funding body to SGFC, and each event can only be funded through one or the other. Visit this page for additional information regarding Annual Allocations Timelines.
